Abstract
There is disclosed a mouth piece, filter element or cooling element comprising: a longitudinally extending core of filtering material; one or more channels extending longitudinally from an end of the core; wherein the or each channel has a non-circular transverse cross section which varies in the longitudinal direction by rotating about a longitudinal axis l of the mouth piece, filter element or cooling element.
Claims27
A mouth piece or filter element comprising:
- a longitudinally extending core of filtering material;
- at least one channel extending longitudinally from an end of the core;
- wherein the at least one channel has a non-circular transverse cross section which varies in the longitudinal direction by rotating the non-circular transverse cross section about a longitudinal axis of the at least one channel;
- wherein the at least one channel has:
- (1) a substantially circular transverse cross section having at least one protuberant portion extending towards a center of the substantially circular transverse cross section,
- (2) a cross shaped transverse cross section, or
- (3) a rectangular transverse cross section.
A mouth piece or filter element comprising:
- a longitudinally extending core of filtering material;
- a channel extending longitudinally from an end of the core;
- wherein the channel has a cross shaped transverse cross section which varies in the longitudinal direction by rotating the cross shaped transverse cross section about a longitudinal axis of the channel;
- and
- wherein the channel is defined by the filtering material and extends along the entire length of the core.
A mouth piece or filter element comprising:
- a longitudinally extending core of filtering material;
- and
- only three channels extending longitudinally from an end of the core;
- wherein each channel has a non-circular transverse cross section which varies in the longitudinal direction by rotating about a longitudinal axis of the mouth piece or filter element.
A mouth piece or filter element comprising:
- a longitudinally extending core of filtering material;
- and
- at least one channel extending longitudinally from an end of the core;
- wherein each at least one opening has a non-circular transverse cross section which varies in the longitudinal direction by rotating about a longitudinal axis of the mouth piece or filter element.
A mouth piece or filter element comprising:
- filtering material;
- and
- at least one channel in the filtering material;
- wherein each at least one opening has a non-circular transverse cross section which varies in a longitudinal direction by rotating about a longitudinal axis of the mouth piece or filter element.
