A process of preparing an aerosol generating material comprising:
- extracting and separating a fibrous material into an extract and a fibrous portion;
- processing the fibrous portion to form a refined pulp;
- forming the refined pulp into a sheet;
- impregnating the sheet with nicotine benzoate, glycerol, and the extract;
- and
- drying the impregnated sheet to form an aerosol generating material.
