A compound of Formula (I) when used for inhibiting nitrification:
- wherein:
- R1 is CH2C≡CA, wherein A is H, methyl or ethyl;
- R2 is CnH2n+1;
- R3 is CmH2m+1;
- and wherein n and m+n are each independently 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 and m is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
