Abstract
A liquid heater module comprising a metallic tube and a heating element that is coiled about and brazed onto the outside of the tube, thereby providing an essentially unobstructed passage for liquid being heated thereby.
Claims9
A liquid heater module comprising:
- a) a main metallic tube for passage of the liquid;
- and
- b) an electrically conductive heating element comprising a tubular outer metallic sheath, an inner electrically conductive wire, and an insulating material surrounding the wire, the heating element being externally coiled around the tube and closely thermally coupled therewith by the outer metallic sheath being brazed onto the main metallic tube, so that the electrically conductive wire is electrically isolated from the main metallic tube.
