Abstract
An imaging obstruction detection apparatus detects imaging obstruction of a camera and includes a detection unit. The detection unit outputs a detection signal indicating detection of an abnormality in an autofocus operation when sharpness in a captured image by the camera at a preset position changes by a predetermined amount or more from a reference sharpness and when a focus point after the autofocus operation of the camera shifts to a near side from a reference focus position at the preset position.

An imaging obstruction detection apparatus that detects imaging obstruction of a camera, comprising:
- a detection unit configured to output a detection signal indicating detection of an abnormality in an autofocus operation when sharpness in a captured image by the camera at a preset position changes by a predetermined amount or more from a reference sharpness and when a focus point after the autofocus operation of the camera shifts to a near side from a reference focus position at the preset position.
An imaging obstruction detection method in an imaging obstruction detection apparatus that detects imaging obstruction of a camera, comprising:
- outputting a detection signal indicating detection of an abnormality in an autofocus operation when sharpness in a captured image by the camera at a preset position changes by a predetermined amount or more from a reference sharpness and when a focus point after the autofocus operation of the camera shifts to a near side from a reference focus position at the preset position.
