Voice vishing (vishing) is a type of scam where fraudsters use phone calls to steal sensitive information or money, often by spoofing phone numbers to appear legitimate. Some implementations described herein utilize source identification signals to help disrupt vishing. These signals can verify the legitimacy of a call, making it harder for scammers to succeed. Source identification signals can be signals embedded in a call and can be verified by wireless telecommunicates providers, user devices, or other entities. In some implementations, dynamically generated signals are based on factors such as the recipient's phone number and time, making it significantly more difficult for scammers to replicate source identification signals. In some implementations, transmission properties such as band, channel, or time slot are used in verification processes.
