Abstract
A mobile device case includes a plurality of interconnecting components that, when interconnected, form a multi-component inner body. The multi-component inner body includes a first back wall and a plurality of first side walls that define an opening configured to securely house a mobile device. The mobile device case also includes an outer body comprising a second back wall and a plurality of second side walls that define an opening configured to securely house the multi-component inner body.

A mobile device case, comprising:
- a plurality of interconnecting components that, when interconnected, form a multi-component inner body, the multi-component inner body comprising a first back wall and a plurality of first side walls that define an opening configured to securely house a mobile device;
- an outer body comprising a second back wall and a plurality of second side walls that define an opening configured to securely house the multi-component inner body.
A multi-component case, comprising:
- a first component and a second component that are interconnected to form a rigid inner body having an opening configured to securely house a mobile device;
- a first snap-fit connector configured to secure the first component to the second component;
- a flexible outer body having an opening configured to securely house the rigid inner body;
- a second snap-fit connector configured to secure the rigid inner body within the flexible outer body.
