Multiple-transmission-reception-point measurement and transmission in wireless communication system

A method in a user equipment (UE) for CSI feedback for multi-TRP channel joint transmission (CJT), comprising:

• receiving, from a base station, a CSI report configuration associated with a TRP set comprising at least two transmission reception points (TRPs), the configuration identifying a set of CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources mapped to TRPs of the TRP set, the configuration further including a power indicator for CJT specifying one or more of:
• per-TRP transmission power scaling factors and shared power factors across two or more TRPs;
• performing joint channel measurements based on the CSI-RS resources associated with the TPRs or TRP set;
• determining a channel quality indicator (CQI), and a precoder matrix indicator (PMI) in accordance with a Type II CJT codebook, the CQI and PMI being determined based on the measurement results, and the power indicator;
• transmitting a CSI report including the CQI and PMI to the base station.
