Connector assembly

A shield cage assembly, comprising:

• a guiding shield cage comprising a holding member on a side wall;
• and
• a movable heat sink comprising a first holding portion on a side wall of the movable heat sink and a second holding portion on the side wall of the movable heat sink, wherein:
• the holding member of the side wall of the guide shielding cage latches with the first holding portion when the movable heat sink is in a front position, and
• the holding member of the side wall of the guide shielding cage latches with the second holding portion when the movable heat sink is in a rearward position.

A connector assembly, comprising:

• a guiding shield cage;
• a receptacle connector provided within the guiding shield cage;
• a partitioning bracket provided in the guiding shield cage;
• and
• a movable heat sink assembled to the partitioning bracket, the movable heat sink comprising a lower stopping portion which enters into a lower receiving space of the guiding shield cage, wherein when the movable heat sink is in a front position, a pluggable module inserted into the lower receiving space pushes the movable heat sink to a rearward position.
