A connecting terminal is provided, including a contact carrier and at least one conductor rail, as well as at least one actuator that can be engagingly attached to the contact carrier in an actuated position, wherein the actuator has two flexible sections which can be bent apart for engaging the actuator in the actuated position on the contact carrier and wherein the actuator can be actuated with a slot screwdriver and translationally moved into a guide channel of the contact carrier in order to actuate a spring clamp of the connecting terminal in the actuated position. In the non-actuated position of the actuator, the clamping portion of the spring clamp presses a cable against a contact region of the conductor rail in order to electrically conductively connect the cable and the conductor rail to the contact region, and to mechanically clamp them on the contact region.
