Abstract
A security device (100) is configured to be secured to an object (300). A mount (200) is configured to be mounted with the security device (100), and further configured to be secured to the object (300). An enclosure (110) of the security device (100) is strong enough to protect its electronic components (121b, 122, 123, 124b). A backup antenna (121b, 124b) is located inside of the enclosure (110). A main antenna (121a, 124a) that is located outside of the enclosure (110). A cover (130) is configured to protect the main antenna (121a, 124a). The cover (130) is transparent to radio waves.

A security device configured to be secured to an object, the security device comprising:
- an enclosure configured to protect electronic components of the security device;
- a main antenna that is located outside of the enclosure, wherein the main antenna comprises:
- a sensor configured to sense a status of the security device wherein the sensor is configured to detect a location of the security device or an impact force received by the security device, and
- a transmitter configured to transmit the alarm signal to the mobile device;
- and
- a cover configured to protect the main antenna (121a, 124a), wherein the cover is transparent to radio waves.
