Electronic device for performing screen capture and method for capturing screen by electronic device

An electronic device, comprising:

• a touchscreen display,
• memory, and
• at least one processor including processing circuitry, wherein the at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to:
• based on a first user input to capture a screen, capture an execution screen of a first application displayed via the touchscreen display,
• based on the capturing of the execution screen of the first application, display, via at least the touchscreen display, at least one recommendation task together with the captured execution screen of the first application,
• obtain, via the touchscreen display, a second user input to select a first recommendation task among the at least one recommendation task,
• based on the obtaining of the second user input, select an area of the captured execution screen of the first application, the area being related to the first recommendation task, store information related to the selected area and execute a second application, the second application being related to the first recommendation task, and
• display, via the touchscreen display, an execution screen of the second application including the stored information related to the first recommendation task.

A method for controlling an electronic device, the method comprising:

• based on a first user input to capture a screen, capturing an execution screen of a first application displayed through a touchscreen display of the electronic device,
• based on the capturing of the execution screen of the first application, displaying, through the touchscreen display, at least one recommendation task together with the captured execution screen of the first application,
• obtaining, through the touchscreen display, a second user input to select a first recommendation task among the at least one recommendation task,
• based on the obtaining of the second user input, selecting an area of the captured execution screen of the first application, the area being related to the first recommendation task, storing information related to the selected area and execute a second application, the second application being related to the first recommendation task, and
• displaying, through the touchscreen display, an execution screen of the second application including the stored information related to the first recommendation task.

A non-transitory storage medium storing computer-readable instructions, the instructions, when executed by at least one processor of an electronic device, causing the electronic device to perform a plurality of operations, the plurality of operations comprising:

• based on a first user input to capture a screen, capturing an execution screen of a first application displayed via a touchscreen display of the electronic device,
• based on the capturing of the execution screen of the first application, displaying, via the touchscreen display, at least one recommendation task together with the captured execution screen of the first application,
• obtaining, via the touchscreen display, a second user input to select a first recommendation task among the at least one recommendation task,
• based on the obtaining of the second user input, selecting an area of the captured execution screen of the first application, the area being related to the first recommendation task, storing information related to the selected area and execute a second application, the second application being related to the first recommendation task, and
• displaying, via the touchscreen display, an execution screen of the second application including the stored information related to the first recommendation task.
