Abstract
An electronic device and an operating method thereof are provided. The electronic device may receive a user input corresponding to information for identifying a target to be configured, the target including at least one of a gesture to be changed or a control operation corresponding to the gesture, and a change application scope of the gesture. Based on the information on the target, the electronic device may obtain information on a plurality of candidate gestures associated with the control operation from gesture-to-operation mapping data. Based on the information on the plurality of candidate gestures and the change application scope, the electronic device may provide a recommended gesture for performing the control operation.
Claims15
An electronic device comprising:
- memory storing one or more instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the one or more instructions stored in the memory, wherein the one or more processors are configured to execute the one or more instructions to:
- receive a user input corresponding to information for identifying a target to be configured, the target comprising at least one of a gesture to be changed or a control operation corresponding to the gesture, and a change application scope of the gesture;
- based on the information on the target, obtain information on a plurality of candidate gestures associated with the control operation from gesture-to-operation mapping data;
- and
- based on the information on the plurality of candidate gestures and the change application scope, provide a recommended gesture for performing the control operation.
An operating method of an electronic device, the operating method comprising:
- receiving a user input corresponding to information for identifying a target to be configured, the target comprising at least one of a gesture to be changed or a control operation corresponding to the gesture, and a change application scope of the gesture;
- obtaining, based on the information on the target, information on a plurality of candidate gestures associated with the control operation from gesture-to-operation mapping data;
- and
- providing a recommended gesture corresponding to the control operation, based on the information on the plurality of candidate gestures and the change application scope.
