Wristwatch and wristwatch type display device

A wristwatch comprising:

• a wristwatch body having a rectangular parallelepiped shape having six faces that form a surface of the wristwatch body, the six faces including a lower face directed toward a side of an arm of a user at a time of using the wristwatch, an upper face on a side opposite to the lower face, and four side faces;
• at least two display units that are formed over entire areas of the upper face and at least one side face out of the four side faces, and the at least two display units are separate from each other;
• a display control unit configured to control a display of each of the at least two display units;
• and
• a detection unit configured to detect at least one information out of
• (1) position information of the wristwatch,
• (2) posture information of the wristwatch,
• (3) movement information of the wristwatch, and
• (4) health relating information of the user of the wristwatch, wherein
• the display control unit is configured to control the display of an image displayed separately on respective one of the at least two display units, in response to the at least one information detected by the detection unit, such that the image moves seamlessly in a linked manner.

A display device wearable on an arm of a user, the display device comprising:

• a display body having a rectangular parallelepiped shape having six faces that form a surface of the display body, the six faces including a lower face directed toward a side of an arm of a user at a time of using the display device, an upper face on a side opposite to the lower face, and four side faces;
• at least two display units that are formed over entire areas of the upper face and at least one side face out of the four side faces, and the at least two display units are separate from each other;
• a display control unit configured to control a display of each of the at least two display units;
• and
• a detection unit configured to detect at least one information out of
• (1) position information of the display device,
• (2) posture information of the display device,
• (3) movement information of the display device, and
• (4) health relating information of the user of the display device, wherein
• the display control unit is configured to control the display of an image displayed separately on respective one of the at least two display units, in response to the at least one information detected by the detection unit, such that the image extends over the at least two display units.

A display device wearable on an arm of a user, the display device comprising:

• a rectangular body having six faces,
• a display device configured to display an image, the display device including
• a first display unit on an upper face out of the six faces of the rectangular body which is opposite to the arm of the user, and
• a second display unit, separately from the first display unit, on one of four side faces out of the six faces of the rectangular body,
• a display control unit configured to control the first and second display units to display the image, and
• a detection unit configured to detect at least one information out of
• (1) position information of the display device,
• (2) posture information of the display device,
• (3) movement information of the display device, and
• (4) health relating information of the user of the display device, wherein
• the display control unit is configured to control the first and second display units to display the image
• in a first state where an entirety of the image is displayed on the first display unit on the upper face, and
• in a second state where a part of the image comes up on the second display unit while the remaining part of the image is displayed on the first display unit.
