Curl correcting apparatus and image forming system

A curl correcting apparatus comprising:

• a curl correcting portion including:
• a first rotary member;
• and
• a second rotary member configured to abut against the first rotary member, the curl correcting portion being configured to correct curl of a sheet that passes through a nip portion between the first rotary member and the second rotary member when the first rotary member is pressed by the second rotary member;
• a first detection portion configured to detect a curl state of the sheet conveyed in a conveyance path by a conveyance roller;
• a second detection portion disposed in a stacking portion configured to stack the sheet discharged from the curl correcting portion, the second detection portion being configured to detect a curl state of the sheet stacked on the stacking portion;
• and
• a control portion configured to adjust a pressing amount by which the second rotary member presses the first rotary member of the curl correcting portion,
• wherein the control portion is configured to set the pressing amount based on a first detection result by the first detection portion and a second detection result by the second detection portion.
