Firearm quick connection mount

An accessory mount for attaching an accessory to a firearm, the mount comprising:

• a mount housing;
• first and second jaws supported by the mount housing, the first jaw being moveable relative to the second jaw to arrange the jaws in a non-securing configuration and arrange the jaws in a securing configuration in which the jaws are farther from each other than in the non-securing configuration, the first and second jaws configured to be inserted into a slot of the firearm in the non-securing configuration and to engage opposite ends of the slot in the securing configuration to connect the accessory mount to the firearm;
• a spring biasing the first and second jaws away from one another;
• and
• an accessory connector coupled to the mount housing, the accessory connector configured to connect to the accessory.
