Abstract

A refrigeration appliance includes a box body defining at least one storage compartment and doors movably connected to a front portion of the box body to open or close at least a part of the storage compartment. The box body is supported on a mounting surface by a bottom base including a pair of independent supporting beams supporting two sides of a bottom portion of the appliance in width or depth directions. Each supporting beam has a positioning portion. A bottom portion of the box body has a fitting portion corresponding to the positioning portion. The positioning portion and fitting portion position the supporting beam at the bottom portion by shape fitting and/or engagement, for mounting the supporting beam to the bottom portion when the box body is in a standing state, allowing the appliance to be mounted at a user location in a convenient and space-saving manner.

Dependent claims

A refrigeration appliance, comprising:

a box body defining at least one storage compartment, said box body having a front portion, and said box body having a bottom portion with fitting portions;
doors each being movably connected to said front portion of said box body to open or close at least a part of said storage compartment;
a bottom portion of the refrigeration appliance, said bottom portion having two sides;
a bottom base supporting said box body on a mounting surface, said bottom base including a pair mutually independent supporting beams each supporting a respective one of said two sides of said bottom portion in a width direction or a depth direction;
each of said supporting beams having a positioning portion corresponding to a respective one of said fitting portions;
and
said positioning portions and said fitting portions positioning said supporting beams at said bottom portion of said box body through at least one of shape fitting or engagement, causing said supporting beams to be mounted to said bottom portion of said box body upon said box body being in a standing state.
