Abstract

An air conditioner is an air conditioner that performs air conditioning of an area to be air-conditioned. The air conditioner includes: a control unit including a plurality of control function units that performs the air conditioning; and a function setting unit that determines, among the plurality of the control function units, the control function unit to be enabled to be actually used in controlling the air conditioning from type name information that is information indicating a type name of the air conditioner. The control unit enables the control function unit determined as the control function unit to be enabled by the function setting unit. The air conditioner has an effect of achieving reduction in the occurrence of failure, reduction in size, and stabilization of quality with a simple structure and being capable of control of a plurality of different models.

An air conditioner that performs air conditioning of an area to be air-conditioned,

the air conditioner comprising:
control circuitry including a plurality of control function circuitry to perform the air conditioning;
and
function setting circuitry to determine, among the plurality of the control function circuitry, the control function circuitry to be enabled to be actually used in controlling the air conditioning from type name information that is information indicating a type name of the air conditioner, wherein
the control circuitry enables the control function circuitry determined as the control function circuitry to be enabled by the function setting circuitry.

the control circuitry enables the control function circuitry determined as the control function circuitry to be enabled by the function setting circuitry.
