Optoelectronic device of the LED (light emitting diode) type, comprising a light source (1) comprising a flat emission surface (10), which light source (1) is contained within an outer casing (2), configured to allow the passage of at least part of a light beam generated by the light source (1), there being at least one power cable (3) of said light source (1) connected to an electrical power source. Said light source (1) is directly connected to said power cable (3), said outer casing (2) identifying a transmission channel (20) of said light beam, said transmission channel (20) and said light source (1) being configured so as to identify a scattering point of the light beam positioned at an end of said transmission channel (20), said scattering point and said light source (1) being spaced apart.
