Abstract

An adjustable inflow control device, an adjustment actuator for an adjustable inflow control device, an inflow control system comprising the adjustable inflow control device and the adjustment actuator, and a method for adjusting an adjustable inflow control device. Said adjustable inflow control device comprises a hollow cylindrical base body, wherein at least one through hole is formed into the shell of the hollow cylindrical base body. Further, said adjustable inflow control device comprises an adjustable throttle mechanism adapted to control a flow through the at least one through hole, a coupling means being accessible from the inside of the hollow cylindrical base body and being rotatable, and a gear mechanism adapted to transfer a rotation of the coupling means into an adjustment of the adjustable throttle mechanism.
