Abstract
According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided a mulch composition comprising: a fibrous organic waste material and/or a fibrous organic side-stream material, and a liquid derived from thermochemical decomposition of biomass, wherein said mulch composition is configured to solidify, upon being distributed over a soil substrate or a growing medium substrate, to form a surface cover layer thereon.

A mulch composition comprising:
- a fibrous organic waste material and/or a fibrous organic side-stream material, and
- a liquid derived from thermochemical decomposition of biomass,
- wherein said mulch composition is configured to solidify, upon being distributed over a soil substrate or a growing medium substrate, to form a surface cover layer thereon.
