Abstract
A method for manufacturing a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) product, includes the step of providing a PVC plastisol. A PVC powder is obtained by recycling and is added to the PVC plastisol, and the PVC powder has a particle size as expressed by the D90 value of below 1 millimeter; and/or a liquid fraction including plasticizer is obtained by recycling and wherein the plastisol is prepared at least partially from the liquid fraction.

A method for recycling polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products,
- wherein, said method comprises the step of subjecting said polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products to a solvent-based extraction in an extraction vessel,
- wherein at each time at least 5 kg of polyvinyl chloride products are present in said extraction vessel, and
- wherein said polyvinyl chloride products have a surface to volume ratio of 1:10 or higher as expressed in 1/mm.
