A crane system disposed on top of a building, the crane system comprising:
- a pair of girders that extend in parallel along a first direction;
- a pair of hoists configured to move on the pair of girders, and configured to lift an object up and down;
- and
- a rail supported by an upper end of a structure on a building roof, wherein the rail extends in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction, and wherein the rail defines a path for movement of the pair of girders.
A crane system disposed on top of a building, the crane system comprising:
- a pair of girders that extend in parallel along a first direction;
- a pair of hoists configured to move on the pair of girders, and configured to lift an object up and down;
- a support unit supporting a roof structure of the building;
- and
- a rail that extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction on an upper end of the support unit, wherein the rail defines a path for movement of the pair of girders along the second direction.
A crane system disposed on top of a plurality of buildings, the crane system comprising:
- a pair of girders that extend in parallel along a first direction;
- a pair of hoists configured to move on the pair of girders, and configured to lift an object up and down;
- a plurality of support units supporting roof structures of the plurality of buildings;
- and
- a rail supported by the plurality of support units wherein the rail extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and wherein the rail defines a path for movement of the pair of girders.
