Abstract
A buffer device configured to buffer containers, such as bottles, in a pre-grouped arrangement on a buffer surface of the buffer device, wherein the buffer device comprises paddles which are configured to move containers on the buffer surface in one direction and which extend in a second direction transverse to the first direction completely or at least to 90% over the extent of the buffer surface. A method includes buffering containers, such as bottles, in a pre-grouped arrangement using the buffer device.

A buffer device configured to buffer containers in a pre-grouped arrangement on a buffer surface of the buffer device, the buffer device comprising:
- paddles configured to move containers on the buffer surface in a first direction, wherein the paddles extend in a second direction transverse to the first direction completely or at least 90% over an extent of the buffer surface.
A method for buffering containers in a pre-grouped arrangement on a buffer surface of a buffer device, the method comprising:
- moving, using paddles of the buffer device, containers on the buffer surface in a first direction, wherein the paddles extend in a second direction transverse to the first direction completely or at least 90% over an extent of the buffer surface.
