Abstract
A vehicle control device includes: a communication unit configured to receive external situation information that is obtained using one or more in-vehicle sensors and that indicates an external situation of a vehicle; and a control unit configured to automatically adjust an internal environment of the vehicle based on the external situation information received by the communication unit, after a rest mode is set by a user that rides in the vehicle and before the rest mode is terminated, the rest mode being a mode relevant to the internal environment.

A vehicle control device comprising:
- a communication unit configured to receive external situation information that is obtained using one or more in-vehicle sensors and that indicates an external situation of a vehicle;
- and
- a control unit configured to automatically adjust an internal environment of the vehicle based on the external situation information received by the communication unit, after a rest mode is set by a user that rides in the vehicle and before the rest mode is terminated, the rest mode being a mode relevant to the internal environment.
A vehicle control method comprising:
- receiving external situation information that is obtained using one or more in-vehicle sensors and that indicates an external situation of a vehicle;
- and
- automatically adjusting an internal environment of the vehicle based on the received external situation information, after a rest mode is set by a user that rides in the vehicle and before the rest mode is terminated, the rest mode being a mode relevant to the internal environment.
