Driving support apparatus, vehicle control method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium

A vehicle control method for causing a computer mounted on a vehicle to perform:

• roundabout travel control for controlling a travel state of the vehicle such that a vehicle speed matches a predetermined target vehicle speed when the vehicle travels through a roundabout;
• and
• curve travel control for performing at least one of suppression of acceleration of the vehicle and deceleration of the vehicle when the vehicle travels through a curve,
• wherein the vehicle control method comprises:
• a step of starting the roundabout travel control when a start condition including at least a condition that the roundabout is detected in a travel direction of the vehicle is satisfied;
• and
• a step of suppressing the curve travel control when a predetermined suppression start condition is satisfied after the roundabout travel control starts.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer mounted on a vehicle to perform:

• roundabout travel control for controlling a travel state of the vehicle such that a vehicle speed matches a predetermined target vehicle speed when the vehicle travels through a roundabout;
• and
• curve travel control for performing at least one of suppression of acceleration of the vehicle and deceleration of the vehicle when the vehicle travels through a curve,
• wherein the program causes the computer to:
• start the roundabout travel control when a start condition including at least a condition that the roundabout is detected in a travel direction of the vehicle is satisfied;
• and
• suppress the curve travel control when a predetermined suppression start condition is satisfied after the roundabout travel control starts.
