Abstract
An engine hood control apparatus includes a sensor, a processor, and a lifting apparatus. The sensor is configured to obtain environment information. The processor is configured to: determine, based on the environment information, that a collision occurs between a pedestrian and a vehicle, and control the lifting apparatus to lift an engine hood of the vehicle when the pedestrian collides with the vehicle.

An engine hood control system, comprising:
- a lifting apparatus of the vehicle;
- a sensor configured to obtain environment information;
- a processor, configured to:
- determine, based on the environment information, that a collision occurs between a pedestrian and a vehicle, and
- control the lifting apparatus to lift an engine hood of the vehicle when the collision occurs between the pedestrian and the vehicle.

A method, applied to an engine hood control apparatus of a vehicle, the method comprising:
- obtaining, by a sensor of the engine hood control apparatus, environment information;
- determining, by a processor of the engine hood apparatus, based on the environment information, that a collision occurs between a pedestrian and the vehicle;

- controlling, by the processor, the lifting apparatus to lift the engine hood of the vehicle when the collision occurs between the pedestrian and the vehicle.
