Abstract
A lamp control system for a moving object includes a lamp to emit a beam pattern, and a processor to enhance a central light amount or light width of the beam pattern based on a visibility enhancement condition of the lamp. The visibility enhancement condition is related to at least one of a set destination of a navigation system of the moving object, information related to a status of a passenger in the moving object, and information related to an infotainment function of the moving object. The processor controls the lamp to emit the beam pattern without enhancing the central light amount or light width of the beam pattern when the visibility enhancement condition is not satisfied.
Claims20
A lamp control system for a moving object, comprising:
- a lamp configured to emit a beam pattern;
- and
- a processor configured to enhance a central light amount or light width of the beam pattern based on a visibility enhancement condition of the lamp,
- wherein the visibility enhancement condition is related to at least one of a set destination of a navigation system of the moving object, information related to a status of a passenger in the moving object, and information related to an infotainment function of the moving object, and
- the processor is configured to control the lamp to emit the beam pattern without enhancing the central light amount or light width of the beam pattern when the visibility enhancement condition is not satisfied.
A lamp control method for a moving object, which is performed by a lamp control system including a lamp configured to emit a beam pattern, the lamp control method comprising:
- determining whether a visibility enhancement condition of the lamp is satisfied;
- and
- enhancing a light amount or light width of the beam pattern according based on a satisfaction of the visibility enhancement condition, and controlling the lamp to emit the beam pattern without enhancing a central light amount or light width of the beam pattern based on dissatisfaction of the visibility enhancement condition,
- wherein the visibility enhancement condition is related to at least one of a set destination of a navigation system of the moving object, information related to a status of a passenger in a moving object, and information related to an infotainment function of the moving object.
A moving object comprising:
- a lamp configured to emit a beam pattern;
- and
- a lamp control system including a processor configured to enhance a central light amount or light width of the beam pattern based on a visibility enhancement condition of the lamp,
- wherein the visibility enhancement condition is related to at least one of a set destination of a navigation system of the moving object, information related to a status of a passenger in the moving object, and information related to an infotainment function of the moving object, and
- the processor is configured to control the lamp to emit the beam pattern without enhancing the central light amount or light width of the beam pattern when the visibility enhancement condition is not satisfied.
