Abstract
A vehicle headlamp includes: a first optical unit configured to emit light to a first region including a cutoff line and at least a region below the cutoff line; a second optical unit configured to emit light to a second region including at least a region above the cutoff line and reduce light to a given region among the second region; and a third optical unit configured to emit light so as to overlap at least a part of the cutoff line. When forming high beam light distribution pattern, the first optical unit and the second optical unit are turned on. When forming low beam light distribution pattern, the first optical unit and the third optical unit are turned on.
Claims13
A vehicle headlamp comprising:
- a first optical unit configured to emit light to a first region including a cutoff line and at least a region below the cutoff line;
- a second optical unit configured to emit light to a second region including at least a region above the cutoff line and reduce light to a given region among the second region;
- and
- a third optical unit configured to emit light so as to overlap at least a part of the cutoff line,
- wherein when forming high beam light distribution pattern, the first optical unit and the second optical unit are turned on, and
- wherein when forming low beam light distribution pattern, the first optical unit and the third optical unit are turned on.
A vehicle headlamp that emits an ADB light distribution pattern and a low beam light distribution pattern, wherein
- a cutoff line formed when the low beam light distribution pattern is emitted is blurred more than at least a part of a cutoff line formed when the ADB light distribution pattern is emitted.
