A safety arrangement for a height-adjustable seat structure and a vehicle seat in a truck, lorry or bus using such safety arrangement

A safety arrangement for a height-adjustable seat structure, the seat structure comprising:

• a first set of legs comprising a first leg pivotably connected to a second leg, and a first pair of guide rails comprising an upper guide rail and a lower guide rail;
• wherein the first leg in the first set of legs comprises one end portion being pivotably hinged to the upper guide rail in the first pair of guide rails and the other end portion being linearly movable along the lower guide rail in the first pair of guide rails, and the second leg in the first set of legs comprises one end portion being pivotably hinged to the lower guide rail in the first pair of guide rails and the other end portion being linearly movable along the upper guide rail in the first pair of guide rails;
• wherein
• the height-adjustable seat structure further comprises a first seat actuator comprising a first piston, said first seat actuator being configured to, upon an activation signal, move the first piston from a retracted position to an extended position in which it directly or indirectly exerts a force to one of the linearly movable end portions of the first set of legs, thereby forcing the height-adjustable seat structure towards a lowered position.
