To inhibit a radiator from absorbing waste heat of an outdoor condenser during cooling of a battery through a chiller and enable thermal management of a drive device to be appropriately performed, a thermal management system includes a refrigerant circuit, a chiller, a first circuit that performs temperature adjustment of a battery, a second circuit that performs temperature adjustment of a drive device, a third circuit including a radiator, and a fourth circuit connected to the chiller. A control unit causes battery cooling in which the first circuit and the fourth circuit are connected and drive device cooling in which the second circuit and the third circuit are connected to be executed. During the execution of the battery cooling and the drive device cooling, the control unit executes heat absorption inhibition control that inhibits heat that has dissipated from the outdoor condenser from being absorbed by the radiator.
A vehicle thermal management system mounted on a vehicle that travels by supplying electric power of a battery to a drive device, the vehicle thermal management system comprising:
A vehicle thermal management method applied to a vehicle that travels by supplying electric power of a battery to a drive device, the vehicle comprising a refrigerant circuit including a compressor that compresses a refrigerant, an outdoor condenser into which the refrigerant compressed by the compressor flows, and a chiller expansion valve that expands the refrigerant flowing out of the outdoor condenser;
