Abstract
Short cut buttons are displayed on the basic screen of a display device. When replacing the functions assigned to the short cut buttons with other functions, the function replacement short cut button for which the function is to be replaced is selected from among the plurality of short cut buttons displayed on the basic screen of the display device. At that time, the short cut button to which is assigned the function not burdening a user the most when performing the on/off setting operations of the function without using the short cut button is selected as the function replacement short cut button among the functions assigned to the short cut buttons.

A display control device for controlling a screen display of a display device mounted in a vehicle, the display control device comprising
- a short cut button display control unit for making a plurality of short cut buttons be displayed on a basic screen of the display device and
- a function replacement short cut button selection unit for selecting from among a plurality of the short cut buttons displayed on the basic screen of the display device a function replacement short cut button for which a replacement of the function is performed when replacing the function assigned to the short cut button with another function,
- the function replacement short cut button selection unit selecting as the function replacement short cut button a short cut button to which is assigned a function not burdening a user the most when performing on/off setting operations of the function without using the short cut button among the functions assigned to the short cut buttons.

- make a plurality of short cut buttons be displayed on a basic screen of the display device and

- make a plurality of short cut buttons be displayed on a basic screen of the display device and
