Cover assembly for truck bed

A cover assembly for a truck bed of a pick-up type vehicle, the cover assembly comprising:

• a housing box;
• a rollable curtain formed by a plurality of adjacent transverse panels which are continuously connected along their transverse length by hinge joints;
• a rotatable transverse shaft;
• an end slat;
• and
• a plurality of cable guiding elements with each cable guiding element of the plurality of cable guiding elements mounted to an adjacent transverse panel of the plurality of adjacent transverse panels or to the end slat;
• and
• wherein each cable guiding element of the plurality of cable guiding elements is configured to receive cable wires therethrough with said cable wires electrically connecting one or more electrical elements arranged on the rollable curtain to one or more stationary elements located on the housing box to support and guide the cable wires along at least one longitudinal length of the rollable curtain during winding and unwinding of the rollable curtain about the rotatable transverse shaft.
