Abstract

Provided is a cosmetic composition for hair, including a bis(haloacetamide)-PEG compound as an active ingredient, wherein the cosmetic composition is safe for cosmetic use, repairs damaged hair, and can be used in the form of a formulation such as shampoo, treatment, serum, cream, oil, and the like. More specifically, provided is a cosmetic composition for hair including a compound represented by chemical formula 1 below as an active ingredient. When a hair protecting composition of the present invention is mixed with general hair lotion, bonds of hair broken due to various chemical procedures are recombined, and an effect of restoring smoothness, gloss, tensile strength, and the like of hair can be expected. In chemical formula 1, X is halogen, and n is an integer of 1-10.
