Abstract
Personal care compositions comprising (a) a volatile alkane mixture comprising about 10% to about 90% by weight of linear alkanes having 9 to 18 carbon atoms and about 10% to about 90% by weight of branched alkanes having 10 to 14 carbon atoms relative to the total weight of the alkane mixture; and (b) one or more non-volatile oils selected from the group consisting of a silicone oil, a hydrocarbon oil, an organic oil, a fluorinated oil, and combinations thereof.

A personal care composition comprising (a) a volatile alkane mixture comprising about 10% to about 90% by weight of linear alkanes having 9 to 18 carbon atoms and about 10% to about 90% by weight of branched alkanes having 10 to 14 carbon atoms relative to the total weight of the alkane mixture;
- and (b) one or more non-volatile oils selected from the group consisting of a silicone oil, a hydrocarbon oil, an organic oil, a fluorinated oil, and combinations thereof.
