Abstract
An implantable medical device includes a stent that has a cylindrical shape extending in an axial direction, is expandable in a radial direction, and includes: a plurality of wavy rings forming an outer periphery of the cylindrical shape, and a plurality of link portions each connecting two of the rings that are adjacent to each other; a porous structure that covers the stent and has a plurality of through-holes; and a plurality of first fixing portions by which at least part of the porous structure is fixed to the stent, each of the first fixing portions being located on the stent at a position other than distal and proximal ends of the stent.

An implantable medical device comprising:
- a stent that has a cylindrical shape extending in an axial direction, is expandable in a radial direction, and includes:
- a plurality of wavy rings forming an outer periphery of the cylindrical shape, and
- a plurality of link portions each connecting two of the rings that are adjacent to each other;
- a porous structure that covers the stent and has a plurality of through-holes;
- and
- a plurality of first fixing portions by which at least part of the porous structure is fixed to the stent, each of the first fixing portions being located on the stent at a position other than distal and proximal ends of the stent.
A stent delivery system comprising:
- a balloon catheter including an elongated catheter body portion and a balloon at a distal end of the catheter body portion;
- and
- an implantable medical device disposed on the balloon and including:
- a stent that has a cylindrical shape extending in an axial direction, is expandable in a radial direction, and includes:
- a plurality of wavy rings forming an outer periphery of the cylindrical shape, and
- a plurality of link portions each connecting two of the rings that are adjacent to each other,
- a porous structure that covers the stent and has a plurality of through-holes, and
- a plurality of first fixing portions by which at least part of the porous structure is fixed to the stent, each of the first fixing portions being located on the stent at a position other than distal and proximal ends of the stent.
