Claims19
A modular, implant assembly, comprising:
- an upper endplate;
- a lower endplate;
- a medial component selectively positionable between the upper endplate and the lower endplate and comprising at least a top surface and a bottom surface;
- the upper endplate comprising a first surface and a second surface, the first surface comprising patient-specific dimensions determined from anatomical data and corresponding to a first vertebral level of a specific patient, the second surface complementary to the top surface of the medial component;
- the lower endplate comprising a first surface and a second surface, the first surface comprising patient-specific dimensions determined from the anatomical data and corresponding to a second vertebral level of a specific patient, the second surface complementary to the bottom surface of the medial component;
- wherein the upper endplate, lower endplate and medial component are secured together by two or more worm screws, the two or more worm screws secured perpendicular to the medial component, a first worm screw oriented in a first direction and a second worm screw oriented in a second direction;
- and
- wherein the assembly configured to be self-distracting during in situ assembly.
