Penile implant and method of implantation

A body implantable penile prosthetic assembly comprising:

• one or more reservoir for containing a fluid;
• a penile implant operable to shift between an erect state in which the penile implant receives a volume of the fluid from the one or more reservoir and a flaccid state in which at least a portion of the volume of the fluid exits the penile implant;
• and
• one or more pump configured to generate pressure for causing the volume of the fluid to flow from the one or more reservoir to the penile implant to shift the penile implant to the erect state,
• wherein the penile implant comprises two bladders for receiving the volume of the fluid, the two bladders being formed from a multilayered material having an inner layer comprising a polymeric material, an outer layer comprising silicone, and a stem cell coating operatively associated with the outer layer, and
• wherein the two bladders each include a longitudinal protuberance.

A body implantable penile prosthetic assembly comprising:

• one or more reservoir for containing a fluid;
• a penile implant operable to shift between an erect state in which the penile implant receives a volume of the fluid from the one or more reservoir and a flaccid state in which at least a portion of the volume of the fluid exits the penile implant;
• and
• one or more pump configured to generate pressure for causing the volume of the fluid to flow from the one or more reservoir to the penile implant to shift the penile implant to the erect state,
• wherein the penile implant comprises two bladders for receiving the volume of the fluid, each of the two bladders being formed from a multilayered material having an inner layer comprising polymeric material having a thickness less than 17.78 microns, an outer layer comprising silicone, and a stem cell coating operatively associated with the outer layer, and
• wherein each of the two bladders include three longitudinal protuberances.
