Abstract
A suction or other component of an endoscope system may be cycled on and off or otherwise controlled without requiring direct user input, such as automatically or semi-automatically using a current or historical state of a laser generator, a blurriness or other information from an image of the working area, a count of fragments of a calculi stone, an intraoperative pressure, an intraoperative temperature, or one or more other characteristics of the laser generator or the targeted calculi stone.
Claims20
An endoscopic system comprising:
- controller circuitry;
- and
- memory, with instructions stored thereon, which when executed by the controller circuitry, cause the controller circuitry to:
- issue a control signal to coordinate a timing or other parameter of a fluid suction or irrigation device with a timing or other parameter of an ablation member, wherein the control signal is issued automatically using a trained learning model that coordinates the timing or other parameter of the fluid suction or irrigation device with the timing or other parameter of the ablation member based at least in part on at least one of historical data or real-time data from one or more sensors communicatively coupled to the controller circuitry.
A computer-implemented method for controlling an endoscopic system, the computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving, by controller circuitry, at least one of historical data or real-time data from one or more sensors communicatively coupled to the controller circuitry;
- and
- issuing, by the controller circuitry, a control signal to coordinate a timing or other parameter of a fluid suction or irrigation device with a timing or other parameter of an ablation member, wherein the control signal is issued automatically using a trained learning model that coordinates the timing or other parameter of the fluid suction or irrigation device with the timing or other parameter of the ablation member based at least in part on the at least one of historical data or real-time data.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by controller circuitry of an endoscopic system, cause the controller circuitry to:
- receive at least one of historical data or real-time data from one or more sensors communicatively coupled to the controller circuitry;
- and
- issue a control signal to coordinate a timing or other parameter of a fluid suction or irrigation device with a timing or other parameter of an ablation member, wherein the control signal is issued automatically using a trained learning model that coordinates the timing or other parameter of the fluid suction or irrigation device with the timing or other parameter of the ablation member based at least in part on the at least one of historical data or real-time data.
