Abstract
A cryoablation probe includes a needle forming an inner cavity. The needle includes at least one flow disruptor positioned in the inner cavity. The cryoablation probe also includes a cryogen lumen configured to deliver cryogen toward a distal end of the needle, wherein the at least one flow disruptor induces a turbulent flow of the cryogen in the inner cavity.

A cryoablation probe comprising:
- a needle forming an inner cavity, the needle comprising at least one flow disruptor positioned in the inner cavity;
- and
- a cryogen lumen configured to deliver cryogen toward a distal end of the needle;
- wherein the at least one flow disruptor induces a turbulent flow of the cryogen in the inner cavity.
