Abstract
Provided in the present invention is a medical needle assembly, comprising an outer tubular needle, which comprises an outer tubular needle body that is hollow inside through two ends and defines a first inner diameter and a first length; a puncture needle, which comprises a puncture needle body that defines a first outer diameter and a second length; and an inner tubular needle that is hollow inside through two ends and defines a second outer diameter and a third length, the first inner diameter being greater than the first outer diameter and the second outer diameter, and the first length being less than the second length and the third length.

A medical needle assembly, comprising:
- an outer tubular needle, comprising:
- an outer tubular needle body having a hollow interior extending through both ends, wherein the outer tubular needle body is defined as having a first inner diameter, a first length, and a first opening arranged on an end of the outer tubular needle body;
- a puncturing needle, comprising:
- a puncturing needle body with both ends having a first outer diameter and a second length;
- and
- an inner tubular needle, comprising:
- an inner tubular needle body having a hollow interior extending through both ends, wherein the inner tubular needle body is defined as having a second outer diameter, a third length, and a second opening arranged on an end of the inner tubular needle body;
- wherein the first inner diameter is larger than the first outer diameter and the second outer diameter, and the first length is less than the second length and the third length;
- thereby:
- (A) inserting an end of the puncturing needle body into the hollow interior of the outer tubular needle body through the first opening, protruding the end of the puncturing needle body from the other end of the outer tubular needle body to contact a wound, and separating the puncturing needle body and the outer tubular needle body;
- (B) inserting an end of a first suture thread into the hollow interior of the inner tubular needle body through the second opening, protruding the end of the first suture thread from the other end of the inner tubular needle body, moving the end of the first suture thread close to the other end of the first suture thread outside the hollow interior of the inner tubular needle body, and forming a first inflection point on a part of the first suture thread near to the other end of the inner tubular needle body;
- and
- (C) maintaining the first inflection point, inserting the other end of the inner tubular needle body into the outer tubular needle body through the first opening, protruding the first inflection point and the other end of the inner tubular needle body from the other end of the outer tubular needle body, and allowing the first inflection point to form a first loop by advancing the other end of the first suture thread.
A method of treating a wound in a body cavity of a subject, comprising:
- step (A):
- providing a medical needle assembly comprising:
- an outer tubular needle, comprising:
- an outer tubular needle body having a hollow interior extending through both ends, wherein the outer tubular needle body is defined as having a first inner diameter, a first length, and a first opening arranged on an end of the outer tubular needle body;
- a puncturing needle, comprising:
- a puncturing needle body with both ends having a first outer diameter and a second length;
- and
- an inner tubular needle, comprising:
- an inner tubular needle body having a hollow interior extending through both ends, wherein the inner tubular needle body is defined as having a second outer diameter, a third length, and a second opening arranged on an end of the inner tubular needle body;
- wherein the first inner diameter is larger than the first outer diameter and the second outer diameter, and the first length is less than the second length and the third length;
- and
- step (B):
- treating the wound with the medical needle assembly.
A method of treating a hernia in a subject, comprising:
- step (A):
- providing a medical needle assembly comprising:
- an outer tubular needle, comprising:
- an outer tubular needle body having a hollow interior extending through both ends, wherein the outer tubular needle body is defined as having a first inner diameter, a first length, and a first opening arranged on an end of the outer tubular needle body;
- a puncturing needle, comprising:
- a puncturing needle body with both ends having a first outer diameter and a second length;
- and
- an inner tubular needle, comprising:
- an inner tubular needle body having a hollow interior extending through both ends, wherein the inner tubular needle body is defined as having a second outer diameter, a third length, and a second opening arranged on an end of the inner tubular needle body;
- wherein the first inner diameter is larger than the first outer diameter and the second outer diameter, and the first length is less than the second length and the third length;
- and
- step (B):
- using the medical needle assembly to introduce a suture thread into the abdomen.
