Abstract

The present invention relates to a walking mat and a method for judging a walking condition using the same, and more particularly, to a walking mat and a method for judging a walking condition that can determine a user's walking condition. A walking condition judging apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a modem configured to receive sensing information from a connected walking mat and output the sensing information, a memory in which at least one of predetermined normal walking information and predetermined normal standing information is stored, and a processor. The memory stores program instructions executable by the processor to update the normal walking information or the normal standing information when the sensing information is received, and to determine whether an emergency situation has occurred when the sensing information is not received. The walking mat may generate the sensing information through an internal pressure sensor and transmit the sensing information to the walking condition judging apparatus.
