Abstract
A method for selecting one or more targets for non-invasively treating a cardiac arrhythmia in a patient includes identifying one or more abnormality on a segmented model associated with the patient's heart, where the segmented model including a plurality of segments, and selecting a target for non-invasive treatment of the cardiac arrhythmia based on which segment or segments of the plurality of segments includes the identified one or more abnormality.
Claims20
A method for selecting one or more targets for non-invasively treating a cardiac arrhythmia in a patient's heart, the method comprising:
- receiving a selection of one or more segments of a two-dimensional (2D) segmented model including a plurality of segments, each segment of the plurality of segments corresponding to a different portion of the patient's heart, each selected segment of the selected one or more segments being associated with a location of an abnormality of the patient's heart;
- generating a three dimensional (3D) segmented model based on the selected one or more segments;
- receiving a selection of a target on the 3D model for non-invasive treatment of the cardiac arrhythmia;
- and
- outputting the target selection to generate a treatment plan to treat the cardiac arrythmia by directing therapy at the selected target.
A method for selecting one or more targets for non-invasively treating a cardiac arrhythmia in a patient's heart, the method comprising:
- receiving a selection of one or more first segments of a two-dimensional (2D) segmented model, the 2D segmented model including a plurality of segments, each segment of the plurality of segments corresponding to a different portion of the patient's heart, the one or more first segments being associated with a first abnormality of the patient's heart;
- receiving a selection of one or more second segments of the 2D segmented model, the one or more second segments being associated with a second abnormality of the patient's heart;
- generating a three dimensional (3D) segmented model based on a combination of the first and second segments;
- receiving a selection of a target on the 3D model for non-invasive treatment of the cardiac arrhythmia;
- and
- outputting the target selection to generate a treatment plan to treat the cardiac arrythmia.
