Food Heating Appliance With A Lid Equipped With A Thermal Shield Portion

A food-heating appliance comprising:

• a base including a receiving surface,
• a bowl (8) which is removable and configured to rest on the receiving surface of the base, the bowl comprising a bottom and a side wall which delimit an internal volume intended to contain food, the side wall of the bowl comprising an upper peripheral edge delimiting an upper opening through which food can be introduced into the internal volume of the bowl;
• a lid supported by the base and configured to sit on top of the bowl when the bowl is resting on the receiving surface, the lid comprising an upper heating element configured to heat, at least by radiation, food contained in the bowl;
• and
• wherein the lid comprises a thermal shield portion configured to be arranged inside the bowl when the bowl is resting on the receiving surface so that the upper peripheral edge of the bowl is not directly subjected to radiation from the upper heating element.
