Abstract
A non-electrical hair brush that produces negative ions. The hair brush has more than one component that is coated, infused with, or made of a composite material that includes a thermally emissive mineral that produces negative ions such as tourmaline crystals/minerals and/or sodium salt. The hair brush has, optionally, a plurality of openings that aid in the effective release and distribution of negative ions to the user's hair during use.
Claims14
A non-electrical hair brush that generates negative ions for brushing hair, comprising:
- a brush body;
- a cushion/pad attached to said brush body to form a brush head;
- and
- a plurality of bristles mounted on said cushion/pad;
- wherein said brush head and said plurality of bristles incorporate a thermally emissive mineral that generates negative ions when the hair brush is being used for brushing hair.
The method of brushing hair to minimize static of a user's hair, comprising:
- using a non-electrical hair brush with a brush body, a cushion/pad attached to said brush body to form a brush head, and a plurality of bristles mounted on said cushion/pad, wherein said brush head and said plurality of bristles incorporate a thermally emissive mineral that generates negative ions when said hair brush is being used for brushing hair.
