Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a makeup applicator, the makeup applicator can include a substantially flat base; a porous flexible body; and an application outer layer comprising at least a flat portion and at least a curved portion, the curved portion being circumferentially arranged around the at least a flat portion; wherein the peripheral edge of the base and the peripheral edge of the application outer layer are connected and jointly define a receiving space for accommodating the flexible body. The makeup applicator is configured to conform to various human skin contours with curvature, including but not limited to the contours around the eyes, face, and neck.
Claims20
A makeup applicator, comprising:
- a substantially flat base;
- a porous flexible body;
- and
- an application outer layer comprising at least a flat portion and at least a curved portion, the curved portion being circumferentially arranged around said at least a flat portion;
- wherein the peripheral edge of the base and the peripheral edge of the application outer layer are connected and jointly define a receiving space for accommodating the flexible body;
- wherein at least a portion of the curved portion of the application outer layer comprises a group of curved surfaces, the group of curved surfaces comprising three types of gaussian surfaces, and the product of the gaussian curvatures of any two adjacent surfaces in the group of curved surfaces is not greater than zero;
- wherein the makeup applicator has a hardness distribution with a gradient change in a single direction.
A makeup applicator, comprising:
- a substantially flat base;
- a porous flexible body;
- and
- an application outer layer comprising at least a flat portion and at least a curved portion, the curved portion being circumferentially arranged around said at least a flat portion;
- wherein the peripheral edge of the base and the peripheral edge of the application outer layer are connected and jointly define a receiving space for accommodating the flexible body;
- wherein at least a portion of the curved portion of the application outer layer comprises a group of curved surfaces that includes at least one saddle surface;
- wherein the makeup applicator has a hardness distribution with a gradient change in a single direction.
A makeup applicator, comprising:
- a substantially flat base;
- a porous flexible body;
- and
- an application outer layer comprising at least a flat portion and at least a curved portion, the curved portion being circumferentially arranged around said at least a flat portion;
- wherein the peripheral edge of the base and the peripheral edge of the application outer layer are connected and jointly define a receiving space for accommodating the flexible body;
- wherein at least a portion of the curved portion of the application outer layer comprises a group of curved surfaces that defines a first type of operating region and a second type of operating region, the first type of operating region and the second type of operating region being configured so as to simultaneously perform makeup application actions on the user's under-eye area and nasal root area;
- wherein the makeup applicator has a hardness distribution with a gradient change in a single direction.
