A webbing strap cam buckle connector is configured as a two-stage webbing strap tightener having a webbing strap engageable with a cam buckle mechanism base wherein the two-stage webbing strap tightener includes a first tensioning mechanism configured to tighten the strap in a first of two stages. The first stage tightening is performed by said first tensioning mechanism to shorten a length of the webbing strap about an object, wherein the first stage tightening provides a first level of strapping force or pressure on the secured object. The two-stage webbing strap tightener also comprises a second tensioning mechanism configured to perform a second stage tightening, which shortens the webbing strap further about the object to increase the strapping force or pressure and provide a secure confinement of the object.
A connector-strap assembly comprising:
A two-stage tensioning connector-strap assembly comprising:
A webbing strap cam buckle connector configured as a two-stage webbing strap tightener, said two-stage webbing strap tightener being configured as a connector strap assembly having a webbing strap engageable with a cam buckle mechanism base wherein said two-stage webbing strap tightener includes a first tensioning mechanism configured to tighten the strap in a first of two stages wherein a first stage tightening is performed by said first tensioning mechanism to shorten a length of the webbing strap about an object, said first stage tightening providing a first level of strapping force or pressure on the secured object, said two-stage webbing strap tightener comprises a second tensioning mechanism configured to perform a second stage tightening, which shortens the webbing strap further about the object to increase the strapping force or pressure and provide a secure confinement of the object.
degrees to an overlapped position substantially overlapping said elongated connector body, wherein said rotation of said lever arm shortens the overall assembled strap length captured by the clamped strap and connector assembly to increase strap tensioning and define a second stage tensioning thereof.
