Abstract
A milk sampling arrangement includes a lower connection part for temporarily storing a milk sample and an upper connection part. The upper connection part has a milk pipe tip connected to a milk source and a movable lid that operates between a separated position and a closed position. In the separated position, milk flows from the pipe tip into the lower connection part across a first airgap that prevents contamination of the milk source. In the closed position, the lid attaches to the lower part to form a sealed space. The lid further includes a closable entrance with a seal that receives the milk pipe tip when separated and seals the entrance when closed, providing additional protection from contamination.
Claims20
A milk sampling arrangement, comprising
- a lower connection part, configured to temporarily store a milk sample;
- an upper connection part, comprising
- a movable lid, configured
- to be removably attachable to the lower connection part, thereby forming a closed space together with the lower connection part, in a closed position;
- and
- to be separated from the lower connection part, in a separated position;
- and
- a milk pipe tip, connected to a milk source via a milk tube and arranged to provide milk into the lower connection part when the movable lid is separated from the lower connection part, via a first airgap between a lower end section of the milk pipe tip and an upper rim portion of the lower connection part.
The milk sampling arrangement according to claim wherein the upper connection part comprises:
- an air inlet arranged in the movable lid for providing pressure air into the lower connection part when the movable lid is attached to the lower connection part in the closed position.
