Device for protecting against partial discharges

A device for protecting against partial discharges comprising a male connector and a female connector, the male connector and the female connector comprising:

• a housing, a first portion of the housing comprising a male housing and a female housing, the male housing comprising a contact surface with the female housing;
• at least one first insulator of the male housing positioned inside the male housing and at least one first insulator of the female housing positioned inside the female housing, a portion of said at least one first insulator of the female housing being inserted inside the male housing;
• each insulator comprising a through hole, the through hole being configured to allow a male contact and a female contact to pass, a portion of the male contact being inside the female contact;
• a first electrical conductor positioned inside the male contact and a second electrical conductor positioned inside the female contact;
• and
• an insulating layer is positioned on a periphery of the male contact and the female contact.
