Abstract
Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter provide a device that includes a full color display. A camera may be disposed below the full color display. A controller may modify a video signal applied to one or more sub-pixels of the full color display based on a predicted degradation of the one or more sub-pixels, such that the modification is updated by the controller based on luminance data for the one or more subpixels acquired by the camera.
Claims20
A device comprising:
- a full color display comprising a plurality of pixels which have regions that are configured to emit light to render an image including a first type of pixels that are non-transparent and a second type of pixels that cover a camera lens, wherein the second type of pixels allow at least 30% of incident light to be transmitted through the second type of pixels, wherein each pixel has one or more sub-pixels, wherein the image is selected from the group consisting of:
- a static image or an image frame in a video;
- and
- a camera including the camera lens is disposed below the full color display.
